For private flights, no overfly or landing is required in Morocco, but you’ll need to file your flight plan six hours in advance to GMMRADTA and GMMMZQZX. If you’re operating around Laayoune, Dakhla, Guelmime, Bouarfa, and Tan-Tan, you’ll need a permit.
Commercial flights require a permit, and be sure to fill and stamp the required form.
It’s actually quite difficult to work directly with the authorities here, so we suggest working with the AMERICAN FLIGHT SUPPORT Ops Team.
