Landing Permit:

  • Private (Part 91) and Non-Revenue Flights: A landing permit may be required depending on the nature of your flight. Please contact our ops team for more advice.
  • Charter (Part 135) Flights: A landing permit is typically required.

2. Required Documentation for Landing Permit Application:

  • Airworthiness
  • Insurance
  • Both Legs Gendec
  • Hazmad letter.
  • D085
  • Radio certificate
  • Pilot licenses and Medicals.

3. Additional Considerations:

  • Airport Slots: MWCR operates with specific hours, typically from 0600 to 2100 local time. Operations outside these hours are generally not permitted.
  • Customs and Immigration: Ensure all passengers and crew have valid travel documents. Some nationalities may require visas; it’s essential to verify entry requirements in advance.
  • Health Requirements: Stay updated on any health advisories or vaccination requirements, especially in light of global health situations.

“American Flight Support recommends coordinating with us to coordinate with the Cayman Islands Civil Aviation Authority to ensure all requirements are met and to facilitate a smooth operation into MWCR.”

Age Limitation:

“In the Cayman Islands, pilots operating under Part 135 are subject to an age limit of under 65. Please contact us for more details.”
